Bernd Pierre Louis dances currently as a trainee with the company and brings his own urban movement concept into the working process. His dance is rooted in hip-hop freestyle including strong influences of Popping and Krump.
In 2015, he first showed up as a dancer in IT’S MY LIFE directed by choreographer Hülya Arslan. He then continued his artistic and dance education in various dance and research projects as in the ROOTS‘n‘ROUTES EXPERIENCE / Cologne (2017) and in URBAN: RESEARCH (2018) directed by the urban collective nutrospektif / Cologne.
In his own studies, Bernd devotes himself above all to the development and research of urban movement concepts, which, independently of codes, create narrative and interpretive processes and by that he is breaking down the given structures of urban dance.
